The Marketing Genius Behind The Ball Brothers

We talk about fathers and how beneficial it is for a child to have one in their life. We're not talking about the father who's around for just a birthday or special occasions. We're talking about the father who's there for his little one through thick and thin as well as making sure his kid is accommodated with all the tools necessary to really dominate in life.

Let's take a look at the talented Ball family.

Their families last name really started to ring bells when Young Melo scored an astonishing 92 points in a single high school basketball game. We also can't forget about UCLA's Lonzo Ball who dominated the NCAA, which led to a 1st round 2nd draft, pick to the Los Angeles Lakers just a few weeks ago. The Ball brothers are known to dominate on the basketball courts, but, off the basketball courts there is one guy we should congratulate for all the energy and time he has put into these boys. That person is none other than their father, LaVar Ball!

A lot of people may call LaVar loud and very boastful of his kids but he calls it support. LaVar is the father most kids would dream of having. How great would it be to have had a dream, while your father is there supporting you and pushing you to be best version of yourself possible? Really, ask yourself.

The criticism he has received from outsiders looking in is because most people don't know how to put energy into their kids other than providing the basic necessities. Not only did LaVar make sure all his boys were well mannered and dominant on the court, he showed them that you don't have to take the same path that everyone else has. You can become your own boss and start your own brand.

The Ball family rolled out "BIG BALLER BRAND" which offers athletic apparel ranging from tank tops, shorts and the most headlined product, the Zo2's that became the talk of the town with a price tag of approximately $495. "Big Baller Brand" was a collaboration between the Ball brothers but it would not be what it is today without the "marketing genius" himself LaVar Ball! LaVar is known to make headlines by drowning out his boys during press conferences and interviews (most of the time) but it's all to keep the Ball name alive and thriving like it has been.

Don't just assume all the Ball brothers are good for is playing ball. They average a 3.5 or higher GPA. That just goes to show you the impact a great father can have on a child's life. Not only did Lavar equip his kids with great support, he also sent one of his boys to the NBA while his two of his other boys have already committed to UCLA. We're not saying that if you're a great father your kid will go to the NBA but we are saying that if you support your kid, stick by your kid, and keep their dreams in front of them, they can really create great things for themselves and the people around them. LaVar Ball is just one example that you can take your family to the next level by pushing them to be the best they can be.
